Schedule (Subject to change)
Games are Saturdays or Sundays at various times. Practice is 1 evening during the week.
Game schedules vary based on the number of teams and the schedules of surrounding towns. Games will be played in Simsbury, Granby, Torrington, Avon, Canton, and Farmington.
 
Goal
This division is a purely instructional division and focuses on basic skills and rules.

Equipment
SLL provides jerseys, visors and socks. All players should have softball pants, a glove, cleats and water bottle. Helmets with face cages are required. If players do not have their own helmet or bat, SLL will provide one.

Umpires
Coaches share the umpiring responsibilities at this level.
 
Volunteers Needed
If you are interested in becoming a Manager, Assistant Coach, or Parent Administrator for your child’s team, please indicate your desire to do so when you register online.  All volunteers are required to fill out a volunteer application which is located on the “volunteer” tab on the SLL website.
